This season, due to the national bike shortage, we have limited bikes available to rent this season and currently do not have any youth bikes available. We highly recommend bringing your own bike for lessons. Please call in advance if you are interested in renting a bike with us to check availability. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

PRIVATE & SEMI-PRIVATE LESSONS

Some learn better one-on-one. We believe that private lessons should come after the group learning environment but we know there are exceptions to every rule. If you want to learn to mountain bike one-on-one with your own instructor, we are all in. Private or semi-private instruction allows riders to pick their own pace of progression. It’s our mission to get you to the “I got this” stage of riding with confidence on downhill bike park trails. Depending on the rider it usually takes three to five lessons to become proficient. If you are intermediate to advanced, one mountain riding lesson will change the way you ride. We will make you faster as you learn our flow and pump techniques from guys with flat pedals that have won medals.

This year, our best Lesson Packages include: conveyor lift ticket, safety pads, gloves, helmet and a 2-hour private lesson with a certified instructor. You may add a second student to your 2-hour Private Lesson for an additional $99, which must be paid for prior to the start of your scheduled lesson. We also have lesson packages available with bike rentals, however we have extremely limited supply this season due to the national shortage. If including a rental is something you are interested in, please call 503.272.0240 or send an email to skibowbikerace@frontier.com in advance of your scheduled lesson with the age and skill level of all students taking the lesson to check availability.
